They start sending you to auditions.
TV auditions as under their umbrella of the agency.
And I think that's essentially like the big perk or the reason why you're signed there is you get sent to these auditions.
And just like in comedy school, each month there's the agency's comedy show.
And so each month you have to have a whole new show.
sketch or whatever material you're doing so we so we had to write a whole new bit every once a month for like 10 years straight wow that's a lot you can't redo any material you can do like little jokes but the setting and everything has to be different you have to practice a lot of writing
what were you dreaming of at the time what was your kind of personal goal on that journey dude my personal goal man i was i was trying to uh i was trying to get to the the quarterfinals of m1 that was my initial goal so m1 is like kind of the the the top league of of man's eye comedy so to say
Yeah, it's the annual competition.
Yeah, they love making comedy into competitions here.
It's honestly like a sport, I would say.
There's always a clear winner and loser.
And yeah, M1 is like,
Not some people will disagree, but it's like the pinnacle.
If you win M1, you're labeled pretty much like the funniest person.
In Japan.
In Japan for that year.
And you got everything, all sponsorships, television, whatever's rolling in.
