by showing the league that you're serious about going for it, you don't care about the narratives, you don't care about any of that stuff that's out there, that you see an opportunity to win and you're going to be aggressive and go and do that, that is absolutely appealing to LeBron because a big part of his Lakers tenure was marked by that lack of aggressiveness.

There was a very specific letter that LeBron liked in front of those picks.
