Bill King is one of my all time personal broadcasting idols.
He is famous for the holy Toledo.
Catchphrase.
Holy Toledo, the Raiders have just scored.
You know, it so he was the voice of the Raiders in the A's for 40 years.
And he was the voice of those teams.
And he gave, he was the pretty much the soundtrack of Oakland sports from the mid-1960s to the early 2000s, pretty much.
He's uh he actually was started with the Golden State Warriors as their broadcaster from 1962 to 1983, but he's best known for the Raiders, 1966 through 1992, and that includes their time in Los Angeles.
And he was also the Oakland Aids announcer from 1981 to 2005.
