I just, you have to be very, very careful.

the police or right wing with anyone.
That's a thing to be very wary of.

The defense argued that when Song shot at the officer, Song was using suppressive fire, claiming that Song aimed for the ground, and the officer was perhaps struck by a ricochet.
We don't know if that is true.
And there really is no legal precedent for arguing suppressive fire in this way.
