He's done okay at Brentford, hasn't he?
He's had two or three seasons there, starting there.
And he's done really well.
So, I mean, that's the sort of calibre player that I'm talking about.

you know Endo for example I think Endo's probably been looked at as an option at centre back I don't think they're thinking of him as a midfield option because they want to play more of Nioni I think and that's maybe their way of thinking and also the way that Iriola plays is you know that sort of the centre backs do tend to jump don't they you know into the six and what not so he'd be sort of he'd be perfect at that sort of role but yeah there are loads of centre backs I just hope that we get the right fellas in because there is an awful lot of work to get done
The thing with Jackie as well is it's his reading of the game, isn't it?
That he's sort of vaunted for and a lot of people are looking forward to seeing.
So it's interceptions, that sort of thing.
It's not so much the physicality.

I liked your point about if it is somebody in midfield, for example, it needs to be somebody leaving before we sign somebody because I don't see the value in signing somebody if nobody's leaving.
And interesting on the Mirrors report that another bid went in for Curtis Jones as well.
I think that was two or three million shy of what we're asking for, which is theoretically reported as such.
