The downstairs bedroom off the kitchen had a double bed, and we flipped a coin for it, and Cole won.
Devin and I were going to take the pull-out couch and the bedroll, and that should have been the arrangement for all three nights.

forecasts dry all weekend i checked he went up the ladder before either of us could say anything else slow and careful the way he did everything and we heard him moving around up there and then we heard the bedroll unrolling and the creak of the old mattress taking his weight
