Daniel, Farah's second son, was five. We were just screaming, crying outside the door, let our mommy go, leave her alone, leave her alone.
His handcuffs were awfully tight, and I didn't do it.
I was always upset. I'd see kids with their dads or their mothers, and I was always jealous, always mad. For as long as Daniel can remember, he's had to explain to other kids why his parents aren't around. I remember one kid especially saying, ha, ha, ha, I have a mother and you don't. Daniel punched that kid. And as he got older, he had trouble controlling his anger.
I feel like it's all directed towards my dad. He's the reason why I'm angry so much. You're doing good, Bradley.
