I was always upset. I'd see kids with their dads or their mothers, and I was always jealous, always mad. For as long as Daniel can remember, he's had to explain to other kids why his parents aren't around. I remember one kid especially saying, ha, ha, ha, I have a mother and you don't. Daniel punched that kid. And as he got older, he had trouble controlling his anger.
