Coming down the stretch, if we didn't have him, we would not have made the playoffs.

I know he had a first half that was a little dicey last year, but he bounced back and played really well for

for us down the stretch and gave us a chance to get into the playoffs.

And, you know, Joe Wall, as you know, for us was interesting as we're looking for, you know, a decent and a strong replacement for Sam Erson.

And as far as Emile André, Emile was also drafted by us, grew up in the organization.

He's a competitor.

And I think you have to know that you figure that out when you watch him play.

His size, smaller stature, but he competes and he doesn't care.

If you're 6'4", 6'8", on the other side, they'll go right through you.

So very high competitor.

I think he's going to fit in well, skates well.

For us, the tough part with Emil was we also have Cam York and Jamie Drysdale that are maybe a smaller stature defenseman.

And when you have to play all three in the same lineup...

We never know, right?

I think the fact that a lot of the players regarding free agency have resigned already, and there's not a lot out there.
