And I think people are people are like uh a little clammy right now.

They're like a little like n people I mean, this is like well noted if you just like read the paper that like businesses are being like cagey and very risk and and yeah, just like I don't no one's quite sure what the future looks like.

Uh and that's not

a great environment to sell into.

Um, when the thing that you're selling is like, let us build new stuff for you.

They're like, I don't know if I want to build new stuff right now.

I I I also think about um

There was someone who I knew, uh, who I worked with who was having a hard time hiring executives at a company that was like a hundred people.

And I was talking to her and I was like,

I was like, man, this sounds it seems like a very, very hard problem.

And she was like, Yeah, well, like the un the fundamental deeper hard problem underneath of it is like when I first started this company, my job was to be a product manager for the product that didn't exist yet.

Um, and then my job became fundraising.

Uh and then my job became

managing a team of twenty, you know, and then my job became marketing and then my job became business development and SaaS sales.

It's like, and then we get to a hundred people and my job became hiring executives and I'm not good at it yet.

And she's like, the thing is like every two months my job changes into a thing that I don't know how to do and that I might not even want to do.
