I've watched him.
He does it very naturally on the ropes.
He's very instinctive in terms of his defence.
He uses that shoulder roll like a bit of a Floyd Mayweather, that lead shoulder as he rides the punch and takes the power out of the shot.
I don't think he's been told that.
I think that's just a natural thing that he does.
It's instinctive.
And he's instinctive, and he seems to be very comfortable on the ropes.
And when he's on the ropes, I've watched him time and again now, he's very difficult to nail with a clean shot.
Yeah.
His head's all over the place.
Couldn't find the punch.
And like I say, I don't think that's been taught.
I think it's a natural thing.
I think he boxes on instinct when he's under pressure, and he does it so well.
And coupled with that chin of his, it's a rock granite chin, you know, he rides the shots really well, and he's very difficult to hurt.
And knowing that, Steve, also to go along with that as well, his powers of recovery are remarkable.
I've seen him hit with some good shots, and literally within seconds, he knows instinctively how to grab people, how to just, the clock's ticking down, he's looking at the referee, three or four seconds are passing, and he's recovering, and he does it so naturally.
And also, Steve, what I would say, early on in his pro career,
I did a bit of digging also.
