Yeah, so I guess the probably the biggest name in in Irish athletics over the last couple of years, she's built some following in furnace, Rashida.

So Rashida is back in action in the two hundred meters.

So with the four hundred meters as obviously been her choice for the last three or four years, but she's gone for the two hundred meters and ran a very good time in the nationals.

So there's sort of a little bit more excitement over Rashida than maybe if you asked us prior to Nationals if

Rashida could potentially run well um at the Europeans, or was the Europeans even an option for this year?

So there's the excitement's building.

Um she's got to buy into the semi-finals, so that'll take place at around twenty past eight tonight.

And

And also Lauren Roy is in round one in the same event, and her heat takes place at around twenty to twelve today as well.

But um the excitement's building for Rashida.

We've also got a couple of other big names with Mark English in the Hildermeters semifinals, potentially.

Metal Hope there and Nicola Tohill who's in the final of the hammer and that's this evening as well.

It's been a sorta frustrating is the wrong word because most of the final or medal hopes will be later in the week.

But I guess Sarah Healy is probably the not the biggest disappointment 'cause she ran extremely well to finish fourth there yesterday in the five thousand meters.

She still has the fifteen hundred meters to go, but

It's unfortunate with athletics and and just these individual events in general, that fourth place is just it's just the worst position to finish.

And there was just a tactical uh chance where she could have maybe made a move a little bit sooner.

And given how well she finished that race, like a brilliant fast finish and to finish fourth, she probably only finished the best out of the rest of the medals outside gold.

That that will be a tad of disappointment for her.
