But again, just to drill down on this, I mean, obviously, there are certain functions that AI can maybe replace or take off the workload.

But I suppose there's natural that there might be efficiencies delivered.

Are you saying now definitively that Vodafone is not looking at job cuts or kind of reduction in workforce because of AI?

Or is that something that may happen in the future?

You don't have plans.

Okay.

Talk to me then about the regulation space that you find yourself in.

Is Ireland over-regulated, under-regulated?

I know, and obviously there's a European dimension to all of this as well, but what's your assessment of where you find yourselves within that regulation space?

And are you seeing that regulation keep apace with that level of technology advancement?

From your expert vantage point,

there are lots of people saying, you know, AI can be a great empowerment or empower of people and make things better for people.

And then there are many others who say the robots are coming to get us all and they'll take us all out at some point.

Do you have any concerns about the advancement of AI and its impact on democracy, on its, you know, there's any, on what it might do in terms of threats to businesses, in terms of security, et cetera, that, or where do you sit on that in that space?

Like how concerned are you about the potential downside of AI?

in terms of Vodafone's kind of spectrum of customers you have obviously your business customers and you have your retail customers and you're how important is your business element you were talking about the scale of your business side of your business and the kind of the retail and that split absolutely so

So we had Susan Brady from Airbusiness on the podcast and she was talking about being that one stop shopper, you know, rounded solution for businesses.

It strikes me that that's a very competitive space for you.

So how do you, I suppose, make sure that the people come to you and not go to Susan?

So Vodafone is essentially advancing at a global stage and you can take that and deploy it here locally.
