How much do I need to be in the weeds of things and how much do I let my top team do their stuff as well?
Talk to me about where you find yourself on that spectrum of
having to be on top of stuff and then also letting your team do their job?
David, you've mentioned there about Ireland hosting or part hosting Euro 2028 and the opportunity that it presents itself.
From a business perspective, how big of an opportunity is it?
Are there any major infrastructure?
Because I know when, say, either Croke Park or the Viva Stadium have had to do big, say, UEFA games, there is an extra level of, I suppose, preparation or even infrastructure needed in terms of hosting foreign media and television.
Are we good to go on that front?
And I presume that's not something as an association you do overnight.
You have to presume there's three, four years worth of preparation going into a kind of a move like that.
And was it ever viable that you might have used a second ground in Ireland?
Was there ever even a possibility that another ground was on?
using Crow Park only or was it only ever going to be the Aviva Stadium?
Is there any concern about, say, the capacity of the transport, the congestion in Dublin?
David Crill, thank you very much for joining us on the Business Post podcast.
Absolute pleasure.
Thank you very much.
Okay, welcome back.
Peter, as I said, you were the one listening.
What was your first and overall assessment of David Carell as an interviewee?
