it's no disrespect to Galway.

It's Galway.

You know, Galway have never beaten Waterford in Championship Hurling.

We're going to win this match and...

you know, we were, I suppose, it was, it was great that it was kind of just two weeks so that we didn't have to kind of dwell on it for three weeks or four weeks.

We were able to, we were still sore after, after underperforming and we wanted to try and, I suppose, go out and right the wrongs.

We knew we weren't as bad as that performance in the months of final and we knew that if we, if we did bring a performance that we were still good enough to, to be called.

Now, obviously, down to the years I've had

mixed mixed days on All-Ireland quarterfinal day I mean 2007 I mean we won the league the National League the Munster Championship and then we had to go and meet Cork again in an All-Ireland quarterfinal played the first day then we played the replay won the replay and everything about the previous week then following week then against against Limerick and then 2009 there was John McIntyre I was manager of Galway Galway

We were after being beaten by Tipperary in the Munster final.

Didn't give it too bad of a performance.

Very, very good Tipperary team at the time.

We'd been to a start there.

to get up and running under Sheedy the time I think they beat us by five or six points in that Munster final.

And we felt, again, we were good enough to come with a performance and beat Galway.

And we just, in that game against Galway, we just hung in there.

We hung in there.

And even, I was marking Olly Cannon myself the same day and Olly Cannon was, you know, I was,

I spoke about it last week.

Olly Cannon was, you know, getting the better of me on the day.
