OK, I mean, this is just random, but there's a book called The Golden Age of Cricket by Patrick Mora, which is a great account of the Golden Age era in 1890 through to 1914.
And it tells all the great stories of that period.
And I remember reading that when I was young and it sort of captivated that period for me.
Now, I subsequently wrote books about Ranji and Jessop.
So I guess that sort of got me going on that period.
