Everyone could probably get a black belt if they joined a martial arts and stuck with it, but not everyone can start as a black belt.
A lot more people are going to be founders.
I really believe a lot more people are going to be founders.
I also don't think it's wildly unnatural to be a founder.
If you go through all of history, most people worked in little family businesses.
That was actually the vast majority of people.
Most businesses never got past 30 people.
Our natural way of being is in family groups and tribal groups and little groups of less than 150 people.
We've
built up this idea that to be a founder means Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, or something massive like that, and that you're trying to build something that changes the world.
I've got so many friends and clients who it's them, their assistant, and someone who's like head of customer development.
And there's three or four of them and they're having a great time and they're doing six, 700 grand worth of revenue.
And they've got loads of flexibility.
Everyone takes their kids to school.
Everyone finishes up at 4pm.
They can travel, they can live and work anywhere.
You know, that's really cool.
This book is about the times that we're living in, right?
So what I'm trying to do, I'm trying to give people some hope.
