Well, on Saturday, there was this very disciplined, very well-organised protest, quite intimidating protest,
was what many of the tourists who were there told the BBC, of men dressed in black with balaclavas.
And it was a protest that was organised by a new outfit called Patriot Platform that was set up in July by an old character, Danny Tomo,
who's not particularly well known in public circles, but was a close associate of Tommy Robinson, has slightly cut a new path.
And he has spoken about being tired of protests and flag waving and wanting to start what he called mass resistance.
But he's always stressed without violence.
And I think what he's done is he's looked at what people like Just Stop Oil have done and these very visual protests.
And he's tried to recreate that.
But once the police really started to get a handle on the protest on Saturday, all the men just walked off to the railway station and left.
but they were.
In other words, why choose that particular place?
Well, Dover's often been the place for protest.
That's where almost all of the migrants are brought ashore once they've tried to cross the channel.
They, for safety reasons, tend to get picked up halfway across the channel and brought in to Dover.
And so it's a very focal point of the anger that one of the kind of big government operations that they see as facilitating the migrants crossing happens there in Dover.
And you can cause much more disruption.
So just as Just Stop Oil like to block motorways, then they managed to block Dover, got lots of attention, and they were headline news all day on Saturday.
So which I suppose would have been part of the calculation.
And then what happened in Portsmouth on Sunday?
