So people were intimidated in Dover on Saturday.
I'm sure there was some local support as well, but there was definitely people who used the word intimidating again and again when talking to the BBC.
On Saturday, there was no violence on Saturday and there were no arrests.
And as I say, once the police started to get a grip on the situation, the men all just marched in a very organised way to Dover Priory railway station and left.
So you couldn't say there was anything other than disruption and intimidation on Saturday.
On Sunday, it was a bit more volatile, a bit of a slightly different situation.
The police felt they had to deploy officers with riot shields on Sunday night.
But I've not seen much evidence of violence.
I've seen a smashed window of a home office car.
Certainly there was some pushing between the riot officers and the protesters.
I wasn't there myself in the middle of the night, but certainly there wasn't a significant amount of violence.
And certainly Danny Tomo in his latest generation is saying he doesn't want violence, he doesn't want arrests.
What he wants is, to use his phrase again, mass resistance.
going forward?
Yeah, I think he certainly does plan to do more.
He said this is a warning, was what he said on Saturdays, with this slightly implied threat that things could be much worse in France.
And certainly, I think if you look at what happened on Sunday, it was obviously everyone was thinking on their feet.
And once it was...
clear that they weren't going to be allowed into Portsmouth Harbour, they chose the nearest place.
But to choose a landing stage, which is accessible only by one road, in and out, that's in the heartland of Danny Tomo, who's currently one of the more visible anti-migrant protesters.
