Well, and if you even then go back to like Brian Burke's connection to Pat Quinn, it extends a long way back.
But we can't succumb to the nostalgia.
I think it's not about like the nostalgia factor so much as it's about, for me anyway, in analyzing what we just saw and trying to break it down and process it all.
I think there's sort of two main takeaways I had from the content.
And the first was...
I think you immediately understand why the twins are doing this, right?
That was one of my big questions going in.
And I thought the way that they focused on reconnecting the team to the city and the province, I think they've been watching closely and have been like, this is not,
This isn't Arcanucks.
This isn't what this team is.
Which, by the way, I think is how a lot of us have felt about it.
Of course it is.
And so I thought they communicated that with a significant amount of clarity and force.
And I thought it was a very compelling...
They really began by answering it.
And it filtered into their philosophy and this idea of a collaborative front office and this idea of connection and alignment and the caliber of people that you need to be.
Now, were there...
some things that I worried about cynically and sort of, like, Daniel Sedin talking about driving home after this stretch run, being like, you know, this team has a new vibe and I'm excited by it.
It's like, okay, I agree with you, by the way.
