But the one thing I wanted to bring up, which wasn't really teased out, and no criticism of you guys in the room because there's a lot to get to, but the Sedins mentioned on several occasions how impressed they were and how excited they were about the vision of
that was pitched to them, the vision that was used to convince them to sign on.
They mentioned it off the top.
They talked about it towards the end, too, where, you know, asked about kind of the worry of meddling from ownership.
They kind of said, like, well, we're excited about the vision.
If we'd had to come in to really sell and fight for something, maybe it would be a different story.
And, you know, the culture stuff was very front and center.
I think they even said, like, that's our fallback at this point is building culture and
So we didn't get a ton of details about what that vision could entail.
But considering some of the rest of what they had to say, and to get to where we want to go fast, we have to take it slow.
We have to go slow.
I think that's a great way of putting it.
I think that's a really sharp way of understanding it.
That's exactly right.
Your highest chance of success in the next decade is to go as slowly as possible.
To an extent, right?
There's always times where...
opportunities come come up and all of that but like if you are trying to maximize your chances of success in a 10-year time frame take it slow right now I thought that was really sharp and I think when you kind of connect those the fact that they were excited about the vision the organization pitched to them I I would have been a little curious to hear more he's like okay what exactly did they say to you to convince you to take this on because
That sense of excitement from the Sedins, I thought, was pretty notable.
The other thing I said off the top, too, before you got here, I thought very notable how directly and candidly they talked about the process to going as far as name-checking Evan Gold specifically and saying that we interviewed him and he was the final external candidate.
