big insurance companies, you know, if you're a business executive or a famous person, most of them carry what's known as K&R insurance, kidnap and ransom insurance.
And when...
You know, business executives or whoever are kidnapped here, you bring in these guys and they know how to negotiate a deal.
And so I applied their techniques for negotiation to Gabriel.
And he's he's actually a pretty damn good K&R specialist.
And he knows how to negotiate a deal with them.
I think that that chapter, I can't remember what.
Which what number it is.
But I tried to do the negotiations like almost like a work of art.
So I think it's it's very tense, but it's actually a rather beautiful chapter the way he does those negotiations.
It is visual.
But if you analyze the text, though, this is something that I say, if you analyze the text,
um i am not actually describing things in great great great detail i'm i'm writing it in a way with proper point of view that tricks you into seeing it for yourself um and and um
And I'm also cognizant of the fact that these days, most people sit with a book with their phone or their laptop and they're going, and they're finding every place that I write about.
I want to see that visual in my head.
I assume they do.
I know they do.
But at the same time, you wouldn't want me to try to describe every single building, every street in minute detail.
What I'm doing is it's a sleight of hand.
It's parlor trick to make you think you see it.
