And I think when I go to the pool, it's just a song.

And for me, I take it as what happens when, you know, when people aren't looking and what I'm doing in the background and all the pressure and all the work has to go into a performance that lasts 15 minutes every year.
And that's why I feel like this song resonates with me.
I'd say every Tuesday night.
It's the hardest session of the week, I would say.
But I mean, like, in all seriousness, I'd say I had a long streak from 2021, from Turkey Olympics to Paris, where I just was winning everything and everything was going pretty much right.
And then, apart from some setbacks, but then this season I had appendicitis.
And I had to get my appendix out and I had one month to train to retain and then compete at the European Championships to retain my title.
And that was probably the only time in my life where I've had a bit of doubt because I just had surgery and I kind of couldn't swim for like a month.
And then I had a month of training where I had to get in...
basically olympic champion form and i was able to do it and i think it was just out of pure determination that i just didn't want to lose and that was okay so so so there's a learning here for people who are are struggling and losing faith and all that kind of thing what did you what did you learn from that
I honestly just have to lean on your support system like your parents and they honestly parents give you the best advice my parents like look if you don't win it doesn't matter because you've you know you can still go on after and be back to full fitness.
But my mum actually had cancer at the same time when I was doing that.
And she was telling me about how she was feeling.
