We have, in fact, given immense amounts of taxpayer funds to keep these refineries going, to upgrade them, to upgrade the storage tanks, the amount that we hold. matched

So it is not beyond possibility that we would put a substantial amount of bankrolling into a new facility on the side of the country that doesn't have one. matched

Well, that's, I guess, one of the issues is even if we did build a new refinery, it wouldn't change the fact that we are relying more and more on imports. matched

It might be that this never happens because our energy mix changes enough that we reduce reliance on that crude oil need. matched

We've talked about this through this whole crisis that diesel was always the fuel where the crunch was going to be. matched

Much less capacity to reduce consumption. matched

You know, very difficult to switch to public transport if you're trying to move a couple of hundred tonnes of iron ore. matched

That remains the problem. matched

And with that reduced refinery capacity, not just here but globally, that will be the crunch in a couple of months. matched
