That homer was incredible.
Absolutely legit big league power to go 430 dead center, 110 miles an hour.
I mean, I don't want to oversell it, 109.9 off the bat in terms of the exit velocity.
A little roundup on that.
But you know what I like most about the two big hits he had?
The one where it probably could have been extra bases potentially that he lined so hard off the wall in left field that it had to be a long single.
But the two balls he hit, the home run in that particular play in the, that was the ninth, was it a show?
Was it the eighth or the ninth?
I can't remember.
It's all blending in together.
Both of those hits came on fastballs.
And one of the things we've noticed with Okamoto making these adjustments is that the velocity has been a problem.
He came into tonight hitting 213 against fastballs with 23 strikeouts.
So those two swings against heaters...
That's great to see from Kazuma Okamoto as he continues to adapt to whatever big league life looks like for him.
Always fun, Sho.
I love doing this.
Thanks so much for giving me the call from the pen today.
That was fun.
Thank you.
