So I actually started out with CSD slash SLP in undergrad.

And then I was fortunate enough to I was able to get into grad school straight out of undergrad.

And then

I've had I've had quite a few job experiences as well.

So I've actually worked in four or five different places, even in the short time of my career too.

All

I had a lot of unfortunate experiences.

If any anyone who knows me knows I'm not a

I I I can be comfortable, you know.

I my my idea when I got out of grad school was to stay at one place for a few years.

I I really love community and friendships.

I mean, that's part of why uh me and my husband ended up staying in Louisiana is to be around friends and family.

So that's something that was that's very valuable to me.

But a lot of I kinda feel I was almost just.

my path was paved to private practice um because I felt like in a lot of the jobs that I had, usually when I left, it was for some sort of moral or ethical reason.

And those were not easy decisions.

And it did allow me to get a lot of experience in different settings.

And I think, you know, when I had that moment of I'm done, like I'm I'm gonna go do my own thing.

Although it wasn't fun going through some of those experiences, it allowed me the confidence and allowed me the know-how to be like, I can go, I can go do this.

I love it.
