And then I was a composer and off on my own.

It wasn't until I did the remix album for Big Mess

And my bass player, Stu Brooks, he wanted to like, I'm going to send this out to other people.

I said, no one is going to want to work with me and do this.

No one.

And suddenly it was like, oh, look, Squarepusher and this one and Ghost and Trent.

I couldn't believe it.

It's the first time I was even aware of anybody even knowing who I was out in the world of music.

I mean, I knew I had a fan base out there, but I never talked with anybody.

It was so moving.

to me.

I get emotional now.

I'm sorry about that.

Because it was like a revelation.
