Like for a lot of people, it's probably very low on the list of why they're training.
So it's listening to your body and not feeling like there has to be only one specific way of doing something or like, okay, well, if I don't go to the gym today and instead I go for a walk or do Pilates or yoga or go for a run, like, well, that's not good enough because I did less than what I should have today, which is just not true.
And when you can be a little bit more in tune with your body, as you mentioned before, which is something that comes from experience of doing these things, of starting to figure out what it feels like to maybe get to the point of maybe overtraining or to do a high-intensity workout and then afterwards go, maybe that wasn't the best for today.
Yeah, I didn't even feel ready at all.
So listening to your body is awesome and...
it's more enjoyable, you know, to the point, like even from the question before, it's like the reason we want to do this is so that we can do this for a long period of time.
And so it has to be enjoyable and it has to be something that you can sustain over a period of time.
And so, you know, we obviously inside the app as well, we have some of the masterclasses and whatnot where we go a little more specific with maybe certain muscle groups or people can jump in and do just the run program or specific strength stuff, which is great because, you
I, for one, like before I went to the gym, just ran all the time, particularly with sport.
And I loved that.
And it was like the best thing for my mental health.
And then I started going to the gym.
I honestly just didn't like it.
I was like, what is this?
Like, it's not giving me the same feeling as I have when I go for a run.
So I felt like I wasn't doing enough.
And then very quickly, I started to feel and see some of those benefits of strength training, like my confidence was going up, my self-esteem was going up, my running was actually improving because of the strength.
And then very quickly, I'm like, okay, these feel different, but I now have like this respect and love for going to the gym.
So I would never have figured that out if I hadn't have spent a period of time really just diving into it.
