And if I can see really great results and feel really good by starting at the lower end, then amazing because now I've got room to move.
But for a lot of people, it's starting at 100%.
And then when you do hit a plateau or you burn out, then what?
And I think that sets this expectation of everything moving forward.
So if you're someone who's watching or listening that β
has experienced that, I would recommend very similar to what I spoke about with my client, like set a goal of going, cool, for the next six months or the next 12 months, I'm going to commit to two days a week, three days a week.
And I'm going to show up every week and I'm going to make the most of those sessions.
And what you will find in a very short period of time
is that compounding of consistency not only allows you to achieve the goals you want to achieve, but you actually look forward to it.
And in 12 months' time, you will still be doing it.
And I think that's the main thing because if your progression or your output kind of looks like a yo-yo, then there probably needs to be something that changes.
Do you want me to answer that second?
Yes, I think when you give yourself, when time permits, giving yourself an opportunity to really find what it is that you actually enjoy and like because we talked about expectation before and what's optimal on paper is not always going to be optimal in real life.
So yes, there are going to be certain ways of training that are going to produce a result better than others.
But ultimately, that's usually not the only reason why we're training.
