So, yeah, if you can, I think, you know, really allowing yourself to figure out what you enjoy most.
It doesn't have to have anything to do with what everyone else is doing.
Or what's trending at all.
In no way, shape or form.
Like, realistically, your body doesn't know what you're doing.
You know, your body doesn't know that you're going for a jog instead of going for a swim.
It just knows that, you know, it's working.
To the second question or the follow-up question there of what I would suggest if you were to only pick one, in saying that I would suggest strength training, and it's for so many different reasons.
As I said, the body doesn't necessarily know what you're doing.
So you are still using your aerobic system and your heart and all that stuff, cardiovascular system, when you're doing strength training to recover between sets.
the benefits of lifting weights and doing resistance training is huge from things like bone density and even for your brain.
And particularly as people age and get older as well, it should be an essential and a priority to continue doing resistance training for as long as you can.
Working in gyms over the years, I've seen it's been really cool to see certain people now obviously
this is for a specific demographic, I suppose, but people who are in their 70s and even 80s in the gym still pumping weights and looking really good and moving well and all that stuff in comparison to maybe people similar age to them that haven't done that.
And the difference is crazy in terms of just their movement and freedom to be independent and all that stuff as well.
Strength training is going to give you a great, I guess you could say, bang for your buck as well.
I think, as I said before, there's so many mental benefits from confidence to the belief in yourself, seeing yourself progress as well.
If I was to suggest only one, it would probably be that.
