But anyway, yeah, that would probably be the biggest one I would imagine.
Like that's not enough.
Yeah, you're 100% correct.
This shows up in a number of areas to the point you just made.
If someone looks back and goes, okay, the only time I've ever seen results is when I've trained six days a week or twice a day, five days a week and blah, blah, blah.
And that's the only experience they've had with seeing results.
then it makes sense as to why they think that that's what they need to do.
So there was an example of this recently with one of my clients.
In the past, they had been very committed to a goal.
And when they commit to a goal, they go very hard.
And you mentioned before, like a marathon, for example.
It's important to understand that when you're getting ready for a marathon, you realistically somewhere are overtraining, right?
Because you're getting ready for a goal.
That's not what the expectation should be year round at all.
But this client had always...
been very committed to a goal, but outside of the goal, they'd completely drop off.
So to the point I made before, every time they'd seen success or change, they'd been overtraining.
And so this year they had a goal set for the middle of the year and it was a big goal.
And we were about a month into our training block and I actually recommended to them that they got rid of the goal, that we actually pull out of this event that they were going to do.
