There's a lot of different scenarios for the Chiefs.

I'm thinking more and more when I hear conversations and conversations by others that aren't just related to the Chiefs that the Chiefs are going to be on the move, I think.

One way or another.

Well, one phrase you used during that answer was, hold your water.

And that has not been written on the business card of Brett Veach.

So I would say it's sort of built into his DNA.

That's what I would say.

He's that's just his nature.

And, you know, sometimes it's obviously it's helped in the grandest way.

He wasn't in charge of it then, but apparently he was.

influential enough that they got a generational quarterback by doing it and then a couple other and then you know trent mcduffie that was a move that obviously bore great fruit for them so you bore them but the 29th pick in the draft this year but right in the other and then some and some other times it's been less spectacular so uh it's it's um you know i it's a very important draft i think one of the things that i've been thinking about is that

Is the Chiefs' mindset really that this is really kind of a reset of where they're at roster-wise?

You know, that this is truly—they've used the word rebuild.

That they are in a position where they need more volume than a star.

Because I think if the Chiefs' mindset was where it was, well, maybe even last year, but certainly two years ago, then—

Working hard to get a Jeremiah Love or something would be, I think, more important to them.

Or trading up for the wide receiver or whatever.

When they feel like their one piece can really make a difference.

One spectacular star.

Because the team's been built on stars and jags.
