Angry and frustrated, Morris shouts into the air,

But for the Hodgsons, that is not true.
Peggy and Janet are terrified.

Janet has twice been found in a kind of violent trance, thrashing around, screaming, her eyes rolled back in her head.
Margaret has started having disturbing dreams about a man who she says died in a chair downstairs.
And all the family, including Peggy, start to see a face, an old man with very white teeth looming at them out of the walls.
Over the next few weeks, the activity ramps up, objects repeatedly being thrown around, some incredibly heavy.
And then, strange noises start to emerge from Janet, almost as if someone is using her, like a ventriloquist's doll.
To Peggy, it feels like her child is possessed, because the voice that comes out of Janet's mouth is truly extraordinary, deep, old and cracked.
My name's Bill Wilkins, it says, and I'm a G-H-O-S-T.
Over the coming weeks, Morris records hours of conversations with this voice.
I died in this house, he says, and most chillingly, I died in a chair in a corner downstairs.
Morris finds all this utterly convincing proof of spirit contact, but outside the house, doubts are creeping in.
The Daily Mirror wants the champions of the Hodgson family call in an actual ventriloquist to see if they can prove that Janet is faking the voice.
To try and establish Janet's innocence, Morris tapes her mouth shut with parcel tape, and we still somehow seemingly hear the voice of Bill coming through.
If that sounds brutal, it is.
And the psychological toll on Janet is clearly enormous.
