But at the same time, I would rail against the kind of drive for absolute clinical, patriotish perfection at every level of the game just because the players are putting in huge efforts, which they are.

Those players out on their feet there.

They were pushed.

It's the question that annoyed me.

Yeah, they weren't, and they might not be playing in their flow all year, all summer, and it might never happen.

But the big challenge that Kerry have, and it was referenced by Jack O'Connor afterwards in his comments, they're managing these lads at different levels of fitness.

So they're constantly pulling lads in training and saying, look, train tonight, don't train later.

There's not a uniformity there, like there might have been other years where everybody's at the same level of fitness.

And Jack has been banging that drum about club football and Kerry for a couple of years now and he's not stopping it.

And that's a winter debate, really.

But what the challenge for their management is, they're not reaching the flow state because they have different people at different levels of match fitness.

They're all fully fit, but they have different people coming back from long-term injury, managing long-term injury.

And it's really, really frustrating.

We're doing it at club level ourselves here.

You can't organise a proper training session or a really clever training session around what you want.
