I think
especially running this campaign and seeing the the type of language that people feel so comfortable using against me and against you know folks who who are supporting me um i think we need to make sure that we are engaging and using language that people can actually hear and receive right particularly when we have strong criticisms um particularly when the stakes are so high and
as an organizer it's deeply important to me that we are using language that is unifying that people can feel that they can be brought into even when they have to face the the hard music of accountability right and knowing that like our actions are sometimes fall short right and but that is what it means to be accountable is to be able to hear the criticism move different and move differently right and be responsive to community and one of the things that has really
been coming to mind a lot throughout this campaign is the focus on these tweets, right?
And I will apologize for them as long as I have to for folks to understand how deeply regretful I am.
And I also have to ask why is it that my opponent whose policies, whose votes, whose record has harmed so much of our community still goes, why his accountability hasn't come?
Why is it that he has not answered any of the questions that have been posed to him about his record on arming a country committing a genocide,
on making sure that or lacking the ability to make sure that our tax dollars actually come back home to address childhood poverty.
The fact that he has taken hundreds of thousands from the corporate real estate developers that are pricing us out while our living conditions are deeply undignified in this district.
And so this question of accountability is deeply important to me because we deserve leadership that is accountable to the community here.
That is not the look of an innocent man.
Is everyone lying to me about who they are?
This is an iHeart Podcast.
Guaranteed human.
There was a lot of pressure to be wooker than thou, right?
And that has gotten us to a point where a lot of people groan or roll their eyes.
Sean Rommelstrom, let me ask you a question.
Which reminds me.
Well, this is a race that is going to have national implications, and I think the things that we're fighting for in this district apply to people across the country.
I'm running to win housing for all, to abolish ICE, to make sure that our tax dollars stop going towards these endless wars so that we can finally invest in our babies here and not in bombs that are destroying communities abroad.
