We can't give them football and eye follow.
They're going to ask for refunds.
Now, Posh don't have massive crowds.
But for some of the other clubs in there, the refunds could be as much as 600, 700, 800 grand just in season ticket money on those games.
So all these clubs, I understand their stance regards furlough.
We took the stance where we didn't furlough our players.
So we kept our players on.
We've had them training at home, you know, with a sports scientist.
They're ready to go.
Because we've been told by the EF all along, including by Rick, we're going to get football back on when it's safe to do so.
So now you're telling me after two months and we followed it and we didn't furlough our players, now you're telling me, well, there is no football.
And by the way, we don't quite know the price that might be coming down the pipe
um i've been hit with of legal suits and battles that we could suddenly have of sponsorship issues of tv refunds of season ticket refunds so a couple hundred grand or 300 grand for testing and for putting on some games for our fans who right now could do with that mental lift it's probably a small price to pay as opposed to the other price do you get what i mean
Yeah, look, I mean, I understand where you're coming from, from a unity point of view.
And, you know, you're probably saying to me, well, this is all self-interest from those clubs because we're in a promotion race.
Yeah, of course.
We're all human beings.
There's always an element of that when you run a football club.
But I've got 200 employees I'm responsible to.
And if we've got no football back soon, Gary, I'm going to have to let a lot of those employees go, particularly if there's no football for the rest of the year.
