You know, he's got a clear mind.

He's able to focus on hockey.

You know, it's unfortunate in Toronto, the way things went.

I think people think, you know, this whole story with Mitch started, uh, with his, uh, contract dispute, uh, originally or that negotiation.

And that's not really where it started.

I mean, back when he first signed with, uh, the Leafs, um, and his entry level, um, they did not want him to have, uh, performance bonuses in there.

and uh you know mitch decided he would help the team out they asked him to i had some pressures from you know guys that were working for the london knights and also working for the leafs uh pressuring him to sign and uh eventually mitch just told me darren i want to sign this so um you know against my you know wishes he did uh they promised nobody get him and as you know uh

They didn't fulfill that.

And, you know, he soon found out that, you know, a promise that isn't in the contract isn't a promise.

So it's a tactic.

So then we got, you know, actually pause there.

Okay.

Contract negotiation in 2019.

And statistically, you know, Mitch was, you know, his performance warranted him being compensated in line with the

with the other players on the team.

And truly, I believe the organization didn't.
