Well, thank you for the support, first off, on that.
Because you and I, it's comical, but it's not how you and I connected many years ago.
And I thought I was 18 months sober.
And you were very proud of me back in 2007.
And you asked how I did.
And I said, well, I've been on Suboxone for a year and a half.
And I'm just not taking opiates anymore.
And you were the ship that I needed.
Because you said, no, now you're very well addicted to the Suboxone.
And that was even harder getting off of.
I had different signs.
Over the years when my dad was alive.
I certainly wasn't.
too so you're definitely that person so yes and i wasn't in a program either i know spirituality in my life so i agree with you there are people that do need it when they have real physical pain but you know my dad always wanted me to write a book about my career of you know representing some most iconic athletes and celebrities in the world and it just sort of manifested one day where when i met my publisher at the time anna david she was like why don't you
write a story not about those stories because i know they're so sacred to you but more about people being a fly on the wall of you being on the top of the mountaintop of your industry but going through the hell of addiction and coming out on the other side and helping others and that's when aiming high came about and how did you other than my little nudge how did you get sober
I had a God shot on July 2nd.
My late uncle and his then girlfriend, Andrea, they visited me at my apartment, my condo in New Jersey.
And I had no idea, but it was just tractor beams.
I was at that jumping off point.
I had that gift of desperation.
