What happened was when Aiming High came out, I was requested to speak all over from schools, colleges, and business events, charity events.
And I started realizing that, as you see every day in recovery, that I was turning the lights on in people's eyes that were talking to me about their deepest, darkest mental health and substance abuse issues.
But I didn't know what to do with them in that moment.
And you know you only have a short window.
And it just came to me with my resources, my connections, my relationship capital.
Let me start my own 501c3 where we can scholarship those in need of mental health and substance abuse issues and get them on the track to get back on life and get the life that they deserve.
And that's been aiming high at Foundation.
came about and being jersey born and jersey raised even though i live in california now in los angeles we're doing our first annual gaming high foundation gala on october 1st in new jersey and it should be a great homecoming we're honoring some tremendous people uh mike the situation certino from the jersey shore him and i go back 20 plus years uh we worked together back then neither one of us were sober
And I've got my spiritual brother, Sean Callagy from Unblinded.
He's just a massive force, a good NBA legend and dear friend.
Dominique Wilkins is flying in to be honored.
And my biggest, number one sober spiritual brother, Steve DeLaValle.
And we're expecting just to raise a lot of money, get a great crowd.
And I don't know if you know this because we haven't spoken probably in a little bit.
We scholarship on average 30 to 40 people a year.
And we also cover flights for veterans for all different banning treatment centers.
And it has given me a new definition of wealth in life, as you know, those that live in a place of service.
No, many different treatment centers.
You know, we've got sober living facilities.
Yeah.
