Okay, tell us your story about your club and what do you know about your club?
I kept everyone honest around staying connected with the game.
So once NPC started, which is when we're playing, if you were from that region, you had to know who they were playing, what the score was, how they went last weekend.
So there was a lot to it that...
I guess subconsciously contributed a lot to our environment and knowing where we came from, what we're all there for and what we're about.
So, you know, pretty heavy fines if you didn't have your club jersey, especially for repeat offenders.
You know, I know mine, I got mine and I wore the same jersey for 20 years and I got tighter and tighter.
So those were good times.
But Smithy tried.
He put the idea forward, and I think it took three or four times for the leadership group, which is a combination of management and players, to finally get it across the line.
And the first time we did it, it was a hit, and it survived.
I think it still survives to this day.
And I think a few even of the superclubs have adopted it as a routine in their week.
