You're playing a trick on yourself.
We are always in control.
We are always confident.
We are always trusting.
It's what we're confident about, what we're trusting in.
We can use our control to make it seem that we're out of control, but we're controlling that.
When people say, I lack confidence, I say, well, you're very confident about that, aren't you?
You're using your confidence to pretend you're not confident because you're confident that you're not confident.
That's a paradox.
It's an oxymoron.
So you have to realize it's not that you need to learn how to be confident.
You just need to be confident in something that works for you instead of something that doesn't.
