I mean, obviously it is the same.
so um it's really hard for i mean when you think about christianity like the hardest the hardest command in christianity well the hardest command in any world religion that's ever been made is love your enemy
And so to be able to recognize that somebody is your enemy, that their interests are fundamentally contradictory to yours, and that you have to be prepared to defend your interests, but not allow that to escalate to hatred for this creature of God that's across from you.
I mean, that's something that, again, is built very deeply into our hearts.
Even people who consider themselves atheists, I think, to a degree, very often still have that built into them.
But it's a mistake to think that, you know, to extrapolate that and think that everybody in the world, certainly throughout history, but even today, sees things that way because they don't.

Yeah, and we have no excuse for particular, we can't use particular circumstances as an excuse when he gave us the example and prayed for the people who were in the process of crucifying him.
And so we have no excuse to allow that to build up in our hearts and we have to fight it.
And very often, I mean, that is, it becomes one of the, like you can survive a war physically.
You can even win a war.
and still have it do so much spiritual damage to you over time that the victory is hollow.

And, you know, I think that, you know,
The post-World War II sort of post-Nuremberg society that we live in is very much a, I mean, if you look at the effects of our policies and the cultural tendencies that have been imposed, it was much easier obviously throughout most of the 20th century to impose cultural norms from above because mass media was still in general trusted by most people and it was controlled by very few interests.
And so we were all sort of sharing the same couple of dreams, you know, and participating in the same couple of imaginaries.
And the general thrust of that, and this comes back to what's going on in Spain and Europe in general and in the United States, is that
