They're gonna recognize other people who are living historically, and they're going to recognize you as, it doesn't even have to be as allies or enemies, but just as people who are doing that.
And then once that happens, it becomes much more difficult to pull the wool over their eyes.
And so the Spanish are a people who still have a remnant to their population and something deeply embedded in their culture that allows them to see things that we here in America, for example, where almost nobody is living historically in the sense that we've been talking about, is even really, we just don't have the conceptual horizon that encompasses, you know, history.
enough to allow us to recognize that in other people.
Probably, you know, if you were to take, maybe the Tucker Carlson audience is obviously an exception, but if you were to just take a lot of this conversation and show it to a lot of just a random cross-section of people, they would think, they wouldn't understand half of what I was saying.
What do you mean living historically?
What do you mean intergenerationally?
I care what happens to my kids.
But this idea of being part of a great chain of being, that there's an organic connection
living community of which you are a part that goes through history as a cohesive unit, even as the individuals that comprise it pass in and out of the world.
You know, this is something that used to be taken for granted by all humans everywhere in the world, at least once we proceeded out of paganism.
And that's what's been lost.
And the people who are still out there living that way, at least in remnant, have a different relationship to each other than they have to the rest of the world that's no longer living that way, if that makes sense.
Well, I would say that the
my audience is fairly curated, partly thanks to you.
So they're used to, you know, they're used to hearing me talk like that.
So the reaction is usually fine, but I have had the experience from time to time where you speak out of class on these issues.
And usually it's not even hostility you run into.
A lot of times it's just people are befuddled.
They don't exactly even know what I'm getting at, which is unfortunate.
