What we need is to just take the pressure off.
Give them time.
It can take up to two years to recover from this if it's that bad.
So we should recognize it before it comes, and then we should actually accommodate for that.
And that's what I think is not happening.
but there's a more complex sort of interplay.
There's like anxiety plus ADHD, or there's anxiety plus autism, or there's autism, ADHD plus anxiety plus trauma.
So you've got all of these complex presentations that don't fit the mold.
And these kids are very impaired.
And I'll be honest in the years that I've done this, probably since last year, I've seen a lot more of that, that kind of conglomeration of complexity and,
That just is so difficult.
What do you think happened at that point in 2025?
You know, it's interesting because, you know, I would have thought, oh, well, COVID's over by now.
I don't know actually.
And so it's not just about the mental health of these young people.
It's about trying to regulate yourself in a world that is more uncertain than ever, more expectations than ever.
I think we're seeing the benefit of that.
So I have to see that as a positive, that more people are seeking help.
I think the challenge is that it's more complex.
So it's not just a one fixed scenario.
