It's like, okay, that's great.

He had his chance to leave last year.

The Browns said they aren't going to trade him.

They're going to give him a bunch of money to shut him up and make him happy.

That's what they did.

And he's going to be a Cleveland Brown for the foreseeable future.

Now that's not to say in the coming years that he won't be traded, but like this year,

I mean, Joel Batonio, their outstanding offensive guard.

We don't know if he's retiring, what he's going to do.

They just took a $23.5 million salary cap hit by his contract voiding earlier this week.

So they've got the Deshaun Watson contract, as you guys know, that they're trying to dig themselves out from under.

They won't be able to do that until after the 2028 season.

They're done paying him this year, thankfully, but they'll June 1 cut him a year from now.

And they got to, you know, split that cap charge over two years.
