Some players refused to return home, claiming asylum in Australia after a tournament.

Now, most have changed their minds under intense pressure and threats back home to their families.

All this started when the women's team refused to sing Iran's national anthem before an Asian Cup match, angering Iran's regime.

Now, controversy here over the Iran conflict.

One battle after another was the big winner at the Academy Awards, getting Best Picture, Best Director, and four other Oscars, including Sean Penn for Best Supporting Actor.

Best Actor went to the lead from Sinners.

Jordan plays Twins and Sinners, which also won three other Oscars on ABC.

Jessie Buckley, the first woman from Ireland to win Best Actress for Hamlet.

Amy Madigan got Best Supporting Actress for Weapons.

At the World Baseball Classic, it's Italy versus Venezuela.

Tonight, the winner plays the U.S.

in the final.
