I went on originally to perform BB-8, who's the ball droid character in Star Wars.

There's two performers on it, sometimes three performers on it, working simultaneously in sync to give it life.

So the entry point of that was go to Pinewood, go to a soundstage, which is completely empty, and there will be a droid there with Matt and Josh, who are the guys responsible for creating BB-8.

And you have seven days to work out the movement vocabulary and how this character is going to live, breathe and be in the movie and have the comic beats and the serious beats.

And there's lots going on in that character.

Essentially, it is a ball with a dome on top.

You know, they needed us to make sure we could get all these different things so that JJ could direct this thing.

funny eyebrows and like you know googly eyes facial features it's not furry it's not cute but obviously you have to that has to be to come because in the script when we read the script it needed all those beats so me and brian herrings the other puppeteer we're on this stage for seven days figure it out because it has to get flown to the desert because that movie was shot pretty much chronologically so we had seven days then it was put in a crate and set off to the desert and we met it in the desert three and a half weeks later
