Obviously, with LeBron, it's become old hat.
But, you know, Kevin Durant, I mean, this is a new guy who's kind of getting into the upper echelons of NBA history in front of our eyes.
Yeah, this is interesting, right?
Because it's his age that is the problem.
This is his year 37 season.
He's going to turn 38 starting next year, okay?
How much more time does he have producing at this level?
He puts up, what, 1,700, 1,800 points a season?
Yeah, the last couple seasons.
Okay, so he's 1,350 points roughly behind Kobe Bryant for fourth.
That's right.
So he should do that next year.
I don't think we're going to see much of a drop off between this season and next season.
But six thousand and ninety three points to catch Kareem for number two all time.
Now, that is an interesting conversation, because by that math, it's what, three and a half more seasons, about three and a half more healthy seasons is the thing I would add.
Can he do 25 points a game for three and a half more years?
I just don't know how you can do that.
I don't know how you're doing it now when he's 37 years old, much less, what are you going to do this when he's 40?
I just don't see it.
It would be unprecedented.
