Everything you want it to be.
You go from this corporate constraint, everything, to just being back in your kitchen with a couple friends, doing anything you want to do, printing the book in Iceland, which we did.
I got to go to Reykjavik for each press check and spend a week there, going back and forth to the printer among all the blonde press men in their blue jumpsuits.
The whole thing was so surreal, but so much fun.
The first three were just white paperbacks, like black and white.
They were really nicely made, but just black and white for the most part.
And then the fourth one was a box with a bunch of booklets in it.
And we made that.
It was the first time.
There's no boxes in Iceland.
They have no pulp.
They can't make anything like that.
There's no trees.
So it was such a big thing.
It was a big meeting.
How are we going to make a box, you know?
And all these Icelandic guys trying to figure out how to make a box for this.
So much fun.
But that started this thing where I thought, well, why don't we reinvent the form every time?
