MJ, probably the most exciting thing that's happened in recent memory in Leafland was yesterday's dog races at the Fan Fest down at the Scotiabank Arena.

And these were the players' dogs.

I don't know if you tuned in, but it was riveting stuff.

We had Troy Stetters.

Troy Stetcher's Bernie's Mountain Dog won the whole thing.

Very quick dog.

Phoebe got the big blue ribbon.

But we had like Matthew Nyes had a dog.

Zoe, William Nylander had a couple of pups out there.

Nick Robertson brought a dog.

This generation of players, they love their dogs.

And I've covered sports a long time.

I used to hear from pro athletes, I don't want to have a dog because I'm gone a lot.
