Um and uh it's gotta be very challenging too when
uh you're going on this journey, everything's going fine and you're eighteen minutes into whatever the procedure happens to be.
And there is a machine that makes a sound that they really don't like.
Or like in my case, my daughter's case, they start to get the sense that they're going to gag and their whole body just says, like, I need to get out of here immediately.
Um, over something as small as a gag, right?
So um it it's it's also tricky because you you need to be able to adjust in real time to
Um, like Barry just said, the best laid plans.
Um you know, can you feel this getting fuzzy?

So now I'm just gonna start scratching away at this little piece on your tooth, and that's when they lose it.

Um and I just that's the part where
I grew up and I think a lot of the people listening to this podcast uh grew up in generations where uh there wasn't a lot of positive reinforcement.
It was just mom and dad and the dentist all agree that they need to be brutalizing my teeth right now.
So I just need to lie here and take it and stare into this bright light and I don't get a say in any of this.
And it's it's interesting that
um you're able to make these like real-time adjustments in in the middle of these different procedures um and still navigate your way through and get done what you need to get done because
